You've Twisted My Arm!

Thanks for all of your helpful comments about the Anthro sweater from the last post. I wish I could say that I will be casting on for that project soon for you to follow, but that will not be the case!

Why you ask? Well, I've finally set a date for my wedding. It's been set for a little while now, but it's coming up fast - January 12th. And in typical last minute Melissa fashion, I have barely worked on my dress. This should be first on my list of priorities, but it's not because I have 2 deadline knitting projects that are due on December 17th and January 5th!

Oh and did I forget to also mention that I promised to knit my Aunt a shrug to wear with her dress to my wedding? It's knit on size 3s and the yarn was just ordered yesterday. Maybe I'll be able to throw it on my knitting machine..........

Am I insane? I'm usually able to handle what I throw my own way, but this time I'm really testing myself.

As long as you don't turn into a bridezilla...

That is a lot of assignments, but you can do it! And congrats on your wedding coming up.

Oh my god! You're very brave to take on all this. At least for me, though, busy is always good when I have a lot to think about in the way of life. Helps me feel grounded.

Anyway, congratulations on setting a date! So exciting! I love the idea of a winter wedding.

Congrats on the wedding plans!

I would have said to try the knockoff (because i think to do it often), but of course you must prioritize.

Congratulations on setting a date for the wedding!! We had a winter wedding, although it was a beautiful sunny winters day, and I'm in Sydney, Australia, so it was still warm enough to wear a strapless dress. Although my bridesmaids were freezing, I guess the excitement of the day keeps the bride warm!

You are insane, woman! But if anyone can pull this off, I know it's you. May the force be with you!

Yes, you're a little insane, but in a good way :) Much luck in getting everything done and I hope this doesn't mean I won't get to see you ever :(

Heee, that does sound a little insane! But then, we all get a little insane when it comes to wedding planning, so you're allowed. I insisted on doing everything myself for my wedding: invites, decorations, dresses, flowers, you name it! My mom put her foot down on my making my own dress, but I did make the bridesmaids duds! Congrats and good luck!
